AMAZING Black Metal/Death Metal, one of the best albums out of this style since the 90’s. Obviously everyone is compared to Dissection - and this is as close to that level as I’ve heard in a long time - but this is much heavier and thrashier with a lot different lyrical content, much more based in Norse content.

The band pays tribute to old-school black metal without becoming a cliché. Their music is exactly what I want when I want to listen to straight-up Second Wave black metal. The riffs were memorable and weren’t diluted by too-long run times; the drums were resonant and powerful without being overpowering, and the songwriting was excellent overall. Finland black metal band att the finest. 10/10 ⚔🖤⚔.
